Beautiful work for early attempt. I'm just starting out on sketching myself, but I'm starting out with graphite pencils and inverting image in photoshop. I've got to get the hang of getting the stars in the right places before I try Mellish. My first attempt at Pleiades? I'm too embarrassed to even show it to anyone! Hopefully my skills will improve with practice.
You must never be embarrassed by your sketches. The more you practice at them the better they get so keep at it. Practice from photographs, that has helped me a lot.
